Sympathy to . . .

The family of Jerry Eckert, long time CSU Ag economist. Jerry passed away recently. A memorial service is being planned to be held in Colorado in September.

The position has been accepted by Megan Blaser. Megan has a bachelor’s degree in apparel design with a minor in merchandise management from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in education (adult education and training) from University of Phoenix online program. She has most recently been employed at Centennial Area Health Education Center as an education coordinator. She will start effective July 15.

PEAKS AND PLAINS REGION – Bill Nobles

Resulted in a failed search. The position is under review.

Extension Agent (Logan and Morgan Counties), Agronomy/Cropping Systems, #13-15
Interview dates are scheduled for August 11 and 12.

Southeast Area
Area Extension Agent, (Cheyenne/Kiowa Counties), 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture/Natural Resources, #11-15
Brittany Bowman has accepted this position and will start effective August 1. Brittany has a B.S. in agricultural leadership and development emphasis: animal science and agriculture education. Most recently she was employed at Banfield Pet Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, as a veterinary technician and client service coordinator.

Personal Information: I am originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and grew up enjoying many activities including sports, boy scouts, FFA and rodeo. I graduated from Oklahoma State University, and chose to pursue a career in agricultural education. In my personal time, I spend time with my family, traveling, working with beef cattle, hunting, fishing and working on projects in my shop.

Job Experience: I have been an agricultural education teacher and FFA Advisor for the past sixteen years, with fifteen in Oklahoma and the last year in Kansas. I have taught in five different schools, and had the opportunity to establish two agricultural education programs.
