Adams County 4-H Horse Project

The 4-H Horse Project helps youth learn about horse care, grooming, riding, and horsemanship. Beginners focus on safety, choosing a horse, basic feeding and healthcare, identifying breeds and colors, and developing foundational riding skills.

Intermediate members study breed characteristics, nutrition, health care, and further improve their riding. Advanced participants explore industry issues, diseases, advanced riding skills, leadership, and career opportunities.
