Turf samples not accepted October \u2013 April. Horticulture staff will complete the analysis, confirm results and ensure that you are contacted with up-to-date research-based information on each sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Drop-Off station (in office):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fill out data form pre-numbered with sample number (given to client by front desk or Horticulture staff).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out appropriate worksheet. Copy sample number from data form onto worksheet (given to client by front desk or Horticulture staff).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give paperwork (data form, plus worksheet) to front desk (or Horticulture) staff member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sample should be brought in to the office by the client in a trash bag and tied shut.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clients will then give the front desk the completed data form for billing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Client will pay front desk (or Horticulture) staff via check, credit\/debit card (there is a convenience fee for credit\/debit card use) or cash (exact change only to minimize handling).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Front desk (Or Horticulture) staff will take bagged sample and paperwork and put it in the Master Gardener work area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clients will be called for follow-up information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-brush-stroke\" style=\"height:40px\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1183ac12 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cash\/Check Fees:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Insect identification<\/strong>: $9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diagnosis:<\/strong>\u00a0$9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plant identification:<\/strong>\u00a0$9 first plant; $4 each additional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Commerical sample:<\/strong>\u00a0$14 per sample<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Out-of-county surcharge\u00a0<\/strong>(for any service): $3\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is an additional fee for credit card transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agsci.colostate.edu\/soiltestinglab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Soil, Water, and Plant Testing Laboratory<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is also available at the CSU Spur Campus in Denver. This lab analyzes soil, water, plant, sludge, manure and miscellaneous types of samples from farmers, homeowners, consultants, government agencies and CSU personnel, and provides fertilizer suggestions for improving crop growth.
