If you are interested in running, please ask for a copy of the officer duties. Council Officers must be at least 14 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Council Report from March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our March Council Meeting was held on March 18th. The meeting was called to order at 6:51. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Abbie, and the 4-H Pledge was led by Clair. Next, we heard our Secretary\u2019s report. We then moved on to the Treasurer\u2019s report and New Business. We handed out soup awards to all members present who sold $200+ in soup. We also had a name drawing for who would win the bonus $100. We then went over the district 5 leadership camp coming up in April and discussed a date to go over the workshop our county is leading. Next, we held our preliminary elections for district 5 President. Maximus Ibram was pre-elected for president and Tucker Ford was pre-elected for vice president. The official district 5 President\/Vice President will be voted on at the district camp in April. The meeting was adjourned at 7:21 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Lucky Duck Contest winners!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though some of the ducks were stolen, we had two members attempt to find all 23! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wyatt Osborn<\/strong> &#8211; 13 Ducks, including 2 bonus ducks for a total of 210 club points!<br><strong>Bristol Jacobson<\/strong> &#8211; 5 ducks, including 2 bonus ducks for a total of 160 club points! (No she did not duck hunt with me!)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although no one found all of them to earn a $50 gift card, the prize goes to Wyatt for finding the most! Ransom led the<br>American Pledge and Aubrey led the 4H Pledge, There were 16<br>members present. Old business: Meet Archuleta County<br>Officers, Demonstrations due June 26th at 4:00 pm; Youth Fest<br>11-13 year old, $115 per person, March 27-29th at the Colorado<br>State Fair Grounds; Woman in Ag State conference March 5-6th.<br>New Business: 4H youth counselors 14-18 year old, Clover Buds<br>day camp, June 9-11th, 5-7 year old $30 fee; Rocky mountain<br>riders day Gymkhana, May 10th at 10am; junior day camp May<br>1st and June 1st; district 5 neon 4H dance, demonstrations due<br>June 26th; trash pick up May 8th, demonstrations meeting May<br>8th. There was 1 birthday in April which was Cora. Meadow<br>discussed the Pueblo statewide horse council this coming<br>weekend, La Plata gymkhana and Obstapalooza the weekend of<br>the 25th. Make up lessons\/meetings will be announced.<br>Discussed fundraiser ideas, riding lesson for tomorrow will be<br>gymkhana events. Aspen gave her presentation on horse colors<br>and markings. These can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/co4h.colostate.edu\/colorado-4-h-state-fair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/co4h.colostate.edu\/colorado-4-h-state-fair\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check with your project leader to make sure you are on target<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be scheduled for an interview with the judge, where you will present your completed project and record boo.
