This scholarship is open to all program areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-post-secondary-college-scholarships\">Boulder County Jr. Livestock Sale Committee Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trade School, Post-Secondary\/College Scholarships<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NEW DEADLINE: MARCH 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BC Jr. Livestock Sale Committee has expanded its scholarship opportunities! The Jr. Livestock Sale Committee is excited to offer multiple scholarships to support 4-H and FFA exhibitors who are continuing their education at a college, university, or trade school.&nbsp; These scholarships honor the commitment, effort, and leadership shown by youth who have participated in the BC Jr. Livestock Sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Available Applications&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two application forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Post-Secondary \/ College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trade School.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can apply?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graduating&nbsp;high school seniors and current full-time college&nbsp;students&nbsp;completing their first year of college.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who have sold a project in the <strong>BCF Jr. Livestock Sale for at least 3 years<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications must meet the <strong>minimum GPA requirements<\/strong> and provide all requested information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the scholarship application and include all required materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include all required materials, including your <strong>most recent high school or college transcript.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email your complete application to <a href=\"mailto:jrlivestocksale.bcf@gmail.com\"><strong>jrlivestocksale.bcf@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> before <strong>MARCH 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may be asked to participate in an &nbsp;interview as part of the selection process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scholarship Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One $1000 The Yellowstone Farms Trade School Scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One $1000 Jerry Hergenreder Memorial Scholarship will be awarded (essay required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional general scholarships will be awarded at the committee\u2019s discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scholarship funds are sent directly to the student\u2019s college, university, or trade school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/boulder-county-livestock-sale\/scholarship-program?authuser=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Jr. Livestock Sale site<\/strong><\/a> is currently being updated for 2026. From&nbsp;<strong>December 1, to February 28<\/strong>&nbsp;you have a chance to apply to our 19 scholarships! We have several scholarships for various students. Our scholarships are for high school seniors, college aged applicants, and trade \/ vocational students. This year we are also offering a basketball camp scholarship for underclassmen.
