About Us

Gilpin County Extension

Gilpin County Extension helps mountain residents improve their quality of life by offering educational opportunities and programs that provide unbiased, research-based information on forestry, wildfire, mountain gardening, wildlife, noxious weeds, and more. Through our 4-H programs, we help youth develop valuable life skills.

A tall‑fronted building with large windows stands beneath a dramatic sky filled with scattered clouds and bright sun, surrounded by young trees and a paved walkway.
