Gilpin County Community Garden

Located at the fairgrounds near the Community Justice Center and Justice Complex, the Gilpin County Community Garden provides space, water, and soil amendments. Gardeners provide seeds/plants and maintain the beds throughout the growing season. Space is limited, so be sure to fill out your application early.

Welcome to the Gilpin County Extension Community Garden!

We strive to create an atmosphere of positive collaboration for our gardeners by sharing ideas, strategies, newsletters, and CSU Extension information. Our gardeners enjoy the camaraderie of a diverse group with a wide range of gardening knowledge and skills.

Gardening is for everyone! We also greatly appreciate the sharing of plants, flowers and veggies with each other and local food banks!
