CSU Extension specialists serve all 64 counties in Colorado, working alongside communities to address local needs, share knowledge, and co-create solutions to help individuals and communities thrive.
Our dedicated staff connects community members to programs and resources on a wide range of topics tailored to the unique needs of Routt County. From 4-H youth programs to food safety and more, Routt County Extension is your local resource for trusted information and guidance.
Our Mission
Routt County’s mission is to efficiently deliver a balance of services and infrastructure to provide a safe and healthy place to live for current and future generations. To achieve this mission, we adhere to the following core values:

Routt County Extension Advisory Board
The Advisory Board gives direction and advice to the Routt County Commissioners and Extension staff for programs offered, and is a community sounding board for past performance of Extension. The board meets up to four times a year to set priorities and goals and review Extension performance.
