4-H Home Design & Decor Project
The Colorado 4‑H Home Design and Décor Project helps youth learn about interior design, home safety, and creating practical, attractive living spaces.
- Units 1–3 introduce foundational concepts such as color, line, texture, and overall design. Members also learn to appreciate natural materials, make useful household items, plan for family safety, practice environmental responsibility through recycling, repair or refinish furniture, and prepare for severe weather.
- Unit 4, designed for ages 11–18, allows youth to expand these skills by planning and completing a personalized project and producing a high‑quality exhibit.
