4-H Rabbit Project
The Colorado 4‑H Rabbits Project teaches youth how to properly care for, feed, and evaluate rabbits while building responsibility, setting goals, and keeping accurate records.
Beginners are introduced to rabbit breeds, basic anatomy, daily care, and how to give demonstrations. Intermediate members learn more about nutrition, disease prevention, breed selection, and how to exhibit rabbits, while also improving sportsmanship and public speaking. Advanced participants explore current issues in rabbit production, take on leadership roles, look into rabbit‑related careers, and develop meaningful friendships through their project work.
