The EEO Counselor System helps employees or applicants resolve civil rights concerns arising from possible discriminatory decisions because of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability. The intent is to satisfactorily resolve the issue without the necessity to formalize the complaint.
Peer ombudspersons provide a “listening ear” and help employees work through difficult work situations not involving civil rights.
