Fremont County Extension

CSU Extension specialists serve all 64 counties in Colorado, working alongside communities to address local needs, share knowledge, and co-create solutions to help individuals and communities thrive.

Fremont County Extension is your information source. We are part of a nation-wide system that uses the latest research to help residents learn more about gardening, sustainable living, healthy eating, youth development, fraud prevention, and much more. Our job is to bring these resources directly to you.

Our mission and priorities

Community needs drive our work. Our mission is to provide information and education, and encourage the application of research-based knowledge in response to local, state, and national issues affecting individuals, youth, families, agricultural enterprises and communities of Colorado. 

We are part of the land-grant university system nationwide. We draw from the University’s research-based resources to strengthen community partnerships, boost the economy, engage families and youth, and enhance our quality of life.
