4-H Youth Development

4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime. We believe that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. 4-H programs empower young people to be well-informed citizens, actively engaged in their communities and the world.

Food Safety Training

According to the CDC, each year in the US, foodborne illnesses cause 48 million people to become sick and 128,000 people to be hospitalized. This means 1 in 6 Americans will get a foodborne illness each year. We work to promote food safety and prevent foodborne illnesses by providing educational opportunities for both restaurants and the community.

AgrAbility

The Colorado AgrAbility Project is a partnership between Colorado State University Extension and Goodwill Industries of Colorado. The program is funded in part by a grant from the U.S Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) to provide education, and services to farmers, ranchers, agricultural workers and their families with physical challenges, limitations, or disabilities.  Since 1998, Colorado AgrAbility has promoted independence and enhanced the quality of life among producers by providing the support they  need to begin, remain, or regain employment in agriculture.
