Wildlife Master Job Description

Job Title

Wildlife Master for Boulder County

Goal

As a representative of Boulder County, Wildlife Master trainees will develop effective phone skills and become familiar with office procedures and reference materials, to answer clientele questions accurately, promptly, and courteously.

Duties/Time Commitment

Attend annual workshop and at least two additional training sessions scheduled throughout the year. Serve a minimum of three weeks answering telephone calls left on a voice mail server. Wildlife Masters work from home (weekdays April through March). Must past annual, open book exam with a minimum of 80% correct answers.

    with other Wildlife Masters

In-Service Training Provided

Approximately 20 hours of wildlife conflict/management training. Additional, advanced training sessions offered throughout the year. Training is not college level, rather informational practical and solutions-oriented.
