Boulder County 4-H

4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime. We believe that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. 4-H programs empower young people to be well-informed citizens, actively engaged in their communities and the world.

Boulder Master Gardeners

The Colorado State Extension Master Gardener® program (known locally as the Boulder Master Gardener program) is a unique intersection between University Horticulture expertise and community volunteers interested in educating locally. As a Colorado State Extension Master Gardener®, you’ll be a CSU Extension volunteer giving back in your local community.

Dive deeper with our in-person field courses offered across the state. The Native Plant Master Program is an award-winning, non-credit, educational program offered by Extension offices through the State’s land-grant institution, Colorado State University.

Demonstration Gardens

The gardens are accessible any time and surround the Natural Resources Building on the Southwest corner of the fairgrounds.
