From 4-H Youth Development to Colorado Master Gardener, CSU Extension supports individuals in Jackson County through a variety of programs, trainings, classes, workshops, and other educational opportunities.


Jackson County 4-H
4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime. We believe that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. 4-H programs empower young people to be well-informed citizens, actively engaged in their communities and the world.
Older adult programs
Jackson County Extension offers a variety of programs for older adults, including Aging Mastery, A Matter of Balance, and Strong Bodies, designed to support healthy, active living. For more information about current offerings and how to participate, please contact the Extension Office.


Colorado Master Gardener
The Colorado Master Gardener program helps Coloradans grow thriving landscapes while strengthening local communities. Through CSU Extension, volunteers and experts provide education, resources, and hands-on support to gardeners of all skill levels.
Annie’s Project
Annie’s Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational programs designed to strengthen women’s roles in modern agricultural enterprises. Annie’s Project uses a methodology that builds confidence, develops networks and creates lifelong learners among women farmers, ranchers, and growers.
