Plant Diagnostic Help

If you’re dealing with a plant problem that’s proving difficult to diagnose, our Plant Diagnostic Help Desk can help. We assist with identifying diseases, pests, abiotic issues, and other plant health concerns using research‑based diagnostic practices – all at no cost. Please email clear photos of your plant or landscape issue. In many cases, good images provide enough detail for our team to offer accurate, research‑based guidance. If the problem requires a closer look, you can also bring a physical sample to our office.

You can also reach the help desk at (303) 271‑6627.

Site Visits and Lawn Checks

Our site visit service offers personalized, on‑site support for a wide range of landscape questions. Whether you’re planning a xeriscape conversion, troubleshooting problem areas, evaluating plant health, or addressing irrigation challenges, a site visit provides tailored guidance specific to your property.

As part of our site visit program, we also offer CSU Lawn Check, a turf and grass focused assessment. Lawn Check examines turf health, soil conditions, irrigation, and other factors that contribute to common lawn problems along the Front Range.
Both site visits and lawn checks cost $75 for a one hour visit.

Select “Site Visit and Lawn Check” on the contact form.
