From Master Gardener training to nutrition education, CSU Extension supports individuals in Jefferson County through a variety of programs, trainings, classes, workshops, and other educational opportunities.


4-H Youth Development Program
4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime. We believe that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. 4-H programs empower young people to be well-informed citizens, actively engaged in their communities and the world.
ENOR Environmental Discovery Camp
Eagle’s Nest Owl’s Roost (ENOR) Environmental Discovery Camp has been getting kids outdoors for over 50 years! Camp days are spent discovering Colorado’s natural and cultural history – while HIKING in a unique local park or open space each day. Campers are welcomed from all communities in the Denver Metro area, including Golden, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Denver, Littleton, and Lakewood, to get outside with us every summer.


Colorado Master Gardeners
The Colorado State Extension Master Gardener® program is a unique intersection between University Horticulture expertise and community volunteers interested in educating locally. As a Colorado State Extension Master Gardener®, you’ll be a CSU Extension volunteer giving back in your local community.
Native Plant Master Program
The Native Plant Master® (NPM) offers classes to enjoy wildflower hikes, field botany, native grass identification, and more. Dive deeper with our in-person field courses offered across the state. The Native Plant Master Program is an award-winning, non-credit, educational program offered by Extension offices through the State’s land-grant institution, Colorado State University.
