San Miguel Basin Master Gardeners
The Colorado Master Gardener program helps Coloradans grow thriving landscapes while strengthening local communities. Through CSU Extension, volunteers and experts provide education, resources, and hands-on support to gardeners of all skill levels.

Native Plant Master
Explore Colorado’s native plants and ecosystems with the Native Plant Master (NPM) Program! Our summer classes offer an exciting opportunity to learn about the unique plants of the San Miguel Basin and surrounding areas.

SMB Regional Seed Library
With help from the Norwood (Lone Cone) and Naturita Libraries, the San Miguel Basin seed library provides regionally-adapted seeds and encourages seed saving, along with sharing locally-grown seeds donated by community members.
