Colorado Department of Agriculture Equipment Tax Credit Program
Small Food Retailers and Small Family Farms – your costly equipment purchases may be eligible for a refundable income tax credit equal to 75% of the amount you spent. Eligible equipment must help increase access to, or lower prices for, healthy food in low-income, low-access, and underserved areas of the state. As of August 20, 2025, $111,296 in tax credits have been issued of the $10 Million in funds available for the 2025 calendar year.
Colorado Department of Agriculture Agricultural Workforce Development Program
Business applications OPEN on October 1, 2025.
The Agricultural Workforce Development Program (AWDP) provides financial incentives to Colorado farms, ranches, and agricultural businesses to hire interns and provide them with hands-on training needed to begin a career in agriculture.
