Four western states (Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming) collaborated on a grant from Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (WSARE) (http://www.westernsare.org/) to provide information about livestock mortality composting for large and small operations in the semi-arid west.
