Name: Nicole Clark
Title: Extension Agent – Family & Consumer Sciences
Location: LaPlata County
Date of Hire: March 2019
Personal Information: I grew up in Ft. Collins and moved to Durango to attend Fort Lewis College. My husband and I met here and agreed it was the perfect place to live and raise our two daughters, age 4 and 7. My passions, which fortunately are shared by my family, include traveling (24 passport stamps), rafting, cooking, hiking, and running (ok, not everyone agrees on this one).
Job Experience: I previously facilitated two programs for employees (at San Juan Regional Medical Center) and community members in Farmington, NM. One was an energy management training, another being the National Diabetes Prevention Program. Community outreach and education with a focus on nutrition, physical activity, and stress management was interspersed between the aforementioned core programs.
Education:
2001 B.S. Cell and Molecular Biology, Fort Lewis College
