Family Consumer Sciences
4‑H Family and Consumer Sciences helps young people build practical skills for managing daily life, family responsibilities, and future careers through hands‑on, project‑based learning. Participants explore topics such as food and nutrition, sewing and clothing construction, heritage arts, and home design. Through these activities, youth strengthen their decision‑making abilities, learn effective resource management, and develop competencies that support success now and in their future professions.

SLV Area Clubs
The San Luis Valley Area has several 4-H clubs that coordinate events and help mentor youth members through a variety of 4-H projects. Most clubs meet once a month.
