On behalf of CJ Mucklow:
- Regional Meetings
- PRU and County Reports
- Western Region Vacancies
- Mission/Vision/Values – Cary Weiner & Ashley Stokes
It’s that time of year when we have our Regional Meetings. I encourage all of you to go to these as it’s a chance to catch up with colleagues and get refreshed. Contact Kellie for Western Region sign up, Sonjia for Front Range and Joan for Peaks and Plains.
Dates/locations:
Western Region – April 3-5, Rifle
Front Range Region – May 15-16, TBD
Peaks & Plains Region – May 8-10, Pueblo
Recently it has been discussed by the Regional Directors and others that we may need to have a standardized report people can pull for use with stakeholders. We think we need it by county and also by program area. I, along with Cay Weiner, Joanne Littlefield, Jan Carroll and Ashley Stokes are setting a date to meet to discuss how to do this with a consistent format and NOT be another overbearing work effort on staff.

Mission/Vision/Values – Cary Weiner & Ashley Stokes
Thank you to all 73 of you who submitted feedback on our second mission/vision survey. Based on your suggestions, CSU Extension’s mission, vision, and values have been finalized. We believe this will help strengthen our identity, and are working on posters for county offices that will display our mission and values. We are still working on a ‘brand promise’ and look forward to discussions about these statements at regional meetings.
Mission: Empower Coloradans to address important and emerging community issues using dynamic, science-based educational resources.
Vision : CSU Extension is highly valued for inclusive, impactful community engagement in support of our land grant university mission.
