Personal Information:I am from the Four Corners, born in Farmington NM. For fun, I enjoy playing my mandolin, as well as woodworking and creating metal art. I have a side interest in natural history and soils, and enjoy prospecting for fossils. I also collect license plates. My wife and I have a 1-year-old son.
Job Experience: I worked a lot of jobs when I was in Las Cruces NM, mostly farm/ranch labor or as a tech in the various labs on campus. Following that, I was a research and teaching assistant at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. There I worked primarily in the field (summer) and in the range soils lab (over winter). Also, I taught a range science 300-level lab.
Education:
2012 B.S. Range Science at New Mexico State University. Minor is geology.
