‘True Colorado: Western Heritage, Then & Now’ at Denver International Airport
DENVER – Jan., 18, 2017 – The Art and Culture program at Denver International Airport (DEN) has pulled up its boot straps with their latest exhibit True Colorado: Western Heritage, Then & Now, which allows travelers to experience the history of Colorado’s western lifestyle through educational and artistic displays. The exhibit is located at the Ansbacher Hall in the Jeppesen Terminal, Level 6 north before A Bridge Security through March 2017.
The exhibit celebrates the western cultural history of the state and features past and present artifacts and information. The Mayor’s Office of National Western Center, an initiative of Denver’s Mayor Michael B. Hancock, plus four significant Colorado establishments are featured for their contributions as tourist destinations, educators, and beacons for important cultural and western traditions. The exhibit explores the history, future vision, and creativity of each operation as they forge into the future while still embracing their long-running Colorado legacy.
Participating exhibitors include the National Western Stock Show, Colorado State University Extension’s 4-H, Rockmount Western Wear Mfg. Co., The Colorado Saddlery Co., Mayor’s Office of National Western Center and Initiative of Mayor Michael B. Hancock.
