From 4-H youth development to agricultural resources, CSU Extension supports individuals in the Southeast Area of Colorado through a variety of programs, trainings, classes, workshops, and other educational opportunities.


4-H in Southeastern Colorado
America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H empowers nearly six million young people across the U.S. We believe every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world. The southeast area offers 4-H clubs in seven counties, including Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, and Prowers.
Seedling Trees
Are you interested in improving the air quality around you? Could you benefit from having a visual screen, wind break, or extra shade?
Southeast Area Extension can assist with ordering a wide variety of trees suited for planting in southern Colorado. After ordering, seedlings can be picked up at your local Extension Office.


Colorado AgrAbility Project
The Colorado AgrAbility Project has worked to promote independence and enhance quality of life for agriculture producers in rural Colorado for more than 27 years. AgrAbility facilitates a variety of programs, trainings, workshops, and services, including on-site visits.
Colorado Master Gardener
The Colorado Master Gardener program helps Coloradans grow thriving landscapes while strengthening local communities. Through CSU Extension, volunteers and experts provide education, resources, and hands-on support to gardeners of all skill levels.
