The family of Joel C. Plath who passed away on October 13, 2018. Joel was the former Southern Region Director. The funeral service was held on October 27, 2018 at Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Personal Information: I was born and raised in Arkansas. I enjoy cooking, camping and hiking with my husband and four kids. I also enjoy reading from our extensive family library.
Job Experience: Prior to working for Colorado Extension, I was an extension agent with Montana and Arkansas Extension in the areas of Family Consumer Science and 4-H Youth Development. I also taught school in inner city Chicago for 9 years.

Personal Information: I was born and raised in Las Animas, Colorado on my family’s ranch where we raise registered and commercial Gelbvieh and Hereford cattle. Growing up I showed cattle and was very active in 4-H and the American Gelbvieh Junior Association. My love for cattle and agriculture led me to study Animal Science. I enjoy spending time on the ranch and showing cattle with my family.
Job Experience: Prior to working for CSU Extension, I worked at the Kansas State University dairy and S and S Land and Cattle.

Personal Information: I am an avid hiker and backpacker and love adventuring in Colorado’s mountains. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) and volunteer Master Naturalist Assistant with the City of Fort Collins’ Natural Areas.
Job Experience: I bring over 12 years of experience as a professor and administrator in higher education and 10 years of experience directing non-profit organizations. Throughout my career, I have worked across private and public sectors to create partnerships that facilitated positive educational and community outcomes.

Personal Information: I was born in Colorado Springs and raised in Falcon, Colorado. I have been out of
the State since 2007, spending time in Eastern Oregon, Malawi (South East Africa), Alaska, and Kentucky, returning to Colorado in March of 2018. I am an avid lover of the outdoors, specifically fishing, hiking, biking, and backpacking. Also, GO Broncos!
Job Experience: Prior to working for Extension, I worked for the Weed and Pest district in Mesa County, managed a small family farm in Eastern Kentucky, and spent 3 ½ years working for the Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District.
