The family of Diana Laughlin, wife of Jeff Wood, Computer Applications Training Coordinator, passed away on May 28 after a long battle with early onset dementia. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, June 4, at the Center for Inner Peace, 740 W 15th, Pueblo, CO. Donations in her honor would be welcome at the Alzheimer’s Association. The Center for Collaborative Conservation, announced its 2015 Fellowship Awards. Cary Weiner, CSU Extension’s Energy Specialist, won the Faculty fellowship award. The CCC Fellowship program aims to strengthen the engagement among students, faculty, conservation practitioners and stakeholders by promoting collaborative research, education, and action on critical issues in conservation and livelihoods tied to the land around the world.

Ann Covington Duncan has accepted the position effective August 1. Ann has a B.S. in food science and human nutrition and a M.S. in community nutrition from Colorado State University. She is a registered dietician and completed her dietetic internships with Adams 12 School District, Wheat Foods Council, and McKee Medical Center. She has previously worked as a restaurant manager.
