The family of Mary Frances Wagoner. Mary Frances died on August 6. She was a longtime Extension employee and volunteer in the Boulder County Extension office. The family of Rodney “Rod” Buchele. Rod died on August 2. He worked as the SE Area 4-H specialist in Lamar from 1993-2003. Services were held in Garden City, Kansas on August 8. Contributions may be made to the Kansas or Colorado 4-H Foundation.

Personal Information: I am happy to have recently settled in beautiful Colorado after living in a number of states in the eastern U.S., including Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. I most enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and 5-year old son and exploring our hometown of Fort Collins.
Job Experience: I am a Medical Anthropologist with over 15 years of experience as an educator, researcher, and community health specialist. Prior to working with Colorado State Extension, I was Program Director at Duke University for a community-based initiative addressing health disparities in Durham, NC. I have held several university teaching positions over the last decade, specializing in courses focused on global health and healing, cultural diversity, and health behavior change.
