4-H Youth Development & Outreach
When you join 4-H in Chaffee County, you are part of the broader Colorado 4-H youth development community, which includes 10,000+ volunteers and more than 100,000 youth.
Agriculture
Whether you are farming on a small acreage, in urban spaces or are involved in large-scale production agriculture, CSU Extension resources provide research-based information for producers located from the plains to the mountains.


Gardening & Horticulture
The average elevation in Chaffee County is about 7,500 feet; high intensity sunlight and generally low humidity, rapid and extreme weather fluctuations and diverse soil conditions all combine to challenge Colorado gardeners. We have the resources to help you be successful.
