Personal Information: I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. I enjoy being outside, whether that is collecting data for range research, touring a pasture or allotment, or camping and hiking.
Job Experience: Prior to working for CSU Extension, I worked as the Outreach and Research Coordinator on the Learning from the Land project, out of CSU’s Warner College of Natural Resources. I’ve also worked on multiple interdisciplinary teams conducting rangeland research and outreach in Colorado, Arizona, and Mongolia. My research has included using targeted grazing and low-stress livestock handling to achieve vegetation management goals, herder observations of rangeland change, and state and transition models.

Job Experience: Prior to working at CSU Extension, I worked at Iowa State University Extension & Outreach as a County Director and Regional Director. Through Prelude Services (formerly MECCA Services), I managed three federally funded programs and two state funded programs along with providing Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention Services. Before working on federal and state grants I worked in two Iowa Public School Systems serving as a school counselor and on the administrative staff as the Pupil Services Coordinator.
